Escalation of a customer service issue

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this.


During the first night of a stay in a AC hotel in Barcelona the room was flooded due to pipe that malfunctioned outside of the room, in the hallway. The water inside of the room was at least 5 inches. Our Apple laptops, iphones and a lot of clothes and other belongings that were sitting on the floor were damaged beyond repairs.


I reached out to the front desk to ask for assistance on how to file a claim with the hotel insurance to recoup at least part of the cost.

I am not even mentioning the great inconvenience the event caused and other losses due to tour cancellations that were non- refundable. Despite my verbal communication and emails, nothing has been done.


How do I elevate this?
