We were denied our reservation for a 1 bedroom suite, 2 queens and a sofa bed for 4 people ( sold out). We are Gold members, and we only offered a room with a King and sofa bed. The hotel claims the occupancy for the King room was equivalent to our initial reservation. We asked for 2 rooms, because we cannot fit 4 individuals onto 1 king and a sofa bed. The website lists that particular room as a occupancy of 3, and our reservation was for 4. I read all of the policies, and believe they are in the wrong. We then spent the next 2 hrs trying to find another hotel. How can I make a formal complaint? Has anyone had a similar experience?
