Errors checking in

Trying to check in for 2 days now,  (got an early check in notification) & getting a red banner error w/ the app ("there seems to be a connection problem. Please wait a moment and try again")  and, an "Unexpected  error" w/ the website, as if the reservation for this hotel is not linked to the system.  Rep on the phone called the hotel was told they are not having issues with mobile app check ins, suggestions?
