One of the main reasons I opt for staying at Marriotts is good, reliable wifi (realizing it is now on the hierarchy of needs). Last night I checked in to one of my regulars and it didn't work for a couple hours. I wasn't the only one with this problem -- when I inquired, someone one else was also asking. Admittedly, I haven't inquired about the reason.
So, my question: should there be some kind of compensation/recognition? Since it happened in the evening, I imagine it won't be flagged up to management. I'm not too fused about receiving a few extra points or a free drink, I really just want to have the confidence that wifi will be available so one can continue work, communicate with colleagues and family, etc.
