What's the TAT (turn around time) in the Marriott SOP to reply on missing points?
The Marriott SOP TAT for points posting is within 10 days of your stay (a while back, they mistakenly implied that it would change to three days, but I.T. reality set in and it ever so gradually went back to 10 days).
Although as you have seen (you liked rstylin's Missing Points Again) this can be a recurring problem and veteran Rewards players have learned that if you didn't receive a Thank You for Your Stay notice within two days, or points posting within two days of receiving a Thank You for Your Stay notice (within 4 days of stay) you are 95% certain of experiencing the Marriott SOP of a point posting snafu or worse a fubar, so veteran points trackers start the process of finding those points by Day 5.
If customer service gives you a runaround, hiding behind the artificial 10 days, tell them ever so politely about Insiders stating that (a good rep ) can solve the problem after the aforementioned 5 days. If they still resist - contact the community managers here on Insiders and they will effectively lend a hand. Good luck.
