I would like to nominate Patricia Potter, a Marriott "Ambassador" for the Spirit to Serve Award. I had a situation develop on a recent family trip where our "points" stay at the Marriott Westminster, Co. was cut short due to an unfortunate personal matter. While our stay was booked (and points deducted) for 3 nights, it was imperative for us to leave a day early. I spoke with someone at the front desk the night before our departure, explained the situation, and, in my mind, officially informed the property I was cutting the trip short. Days later, while speaking with my Ambassador, I asked if she (Patricia Potter) could look into why my points for both rooms had not been put back into my account for the night we did not use. Patricia's persistence, as well as the property's management being understanding, brought closure to this problem and all is good.
