I am a Platinum Elite member, and I booked two separate stays at Marriott Surawongse Bangkok, a new hotel openning this month (March 2018) but delayed by construction and subsequently, my reservations were cancelled and vanished from my reservation list. I received an apology email and a promise to reroute to other hotel nearby, but no confirming arrangement as of now. I have to rearrange my schedule and make my reservations elsewhere, one was out of the country. I have communicated with the hotel sales and marketing manager, with promises of locating my reservation but have yet received a response in 5 days of my first reservation. I have also written to the Marriott reward desk for advice, including points compensation. Any advice would be appreciated.
