Status downgraded during Platinum Challenge

Recently I signed up for the Platinum Challenge was told that I had till the end of April to complete (my gold was expiring). Therefore, we made hotel plans for NY and Chicago, we have finished 4 stays during that time under gold status. The rest of the reservations are made for March and the beginning of April. However, when I logged into my account today, suddenly I am back to Silver Elite. Please help, we thought we locked in the gold status at least till the end of the challenge (we would like to use the status while we are in Chicago next month), thanks for your time and effort!!!
