Has anyone else run into this. I have been with Marriott for many years and have never stayed at a property that does not honor the Marriott rewards program. Recently we have had to stay at the Inn at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL, for some issues my wife has, I will be up to 12-14 nights by the end of March. You can make a reservation on the Marriott site and it does say that they do not participate in the program. Once your stay is completed you can no longer see the stay on the website. I find it very odd that you can book on the site, but you are not eligible for points and you can not track your travel. I know I can stay at properties off campus, but the appointment scheduling makes it easier on us to stay close.
Anyone know why this is this way or how to request a change in policy ?
