Not a happy camper with my reservation specialist's assistance

I recently booked with Marriott's a reservation specialist assistance two days in Aruba at the

renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino.  My confirmation amount was $303.98.  I was charged $896.33 on my Marriott Rewards credit card.  This is not fair as I was "quoted" this price and it is the one and only reason I was able to stay there.  I would not have chosen an ocean view with a balcony.  I would have stayed at the Marriott resort accross the street! This is not fair!  Why was I given a price that they refuse to honor?  I have a written confirmation.  Renaissance Aruba & Resport Casino is telling me I need more reward points or a certificate.  Why wasn't this taken care of at the time of my reservation?
