New technology coming??

After my recent stay at the Renaissance Aruba resort my points were significantly shorted - only 15% awarded , I called marriott platinum line yesterday to gt the issue fixed.


During the course of the call which was 1 hr 21 min, she mentioned that hopefully the new system wouldnt have these many issues. She has happened to see it and looks so much better.

She was unwilling to divulge any further details but from the looks of it we may have a new technology which is good instead of just migrating starwood data into the legacy marriott system.
