Just started feeling MR (but also other Hotel fidelity programs) are going to follow the decline of many - if not all, airline program?
While the continuous “enhancements” to the major airlines programs have led to a complete zero value to fidelity, leading to business travelers going for low value choices, I wonder how this will impact the accomodation selection criteria?
With programs devaluation will travelers simply opt for the better price? Or look into indipendent hotels?
Will we one day get rid of all our cards as we did already for airlines?
