I stayed at the Santa Clara Marriott 175 nights a year for six years. They gave me the corner, larger room on the Concierge Floor, and jokingly said that they'd install my name (not Anadyr BTW) on a plaque there at the entrance. While that never happened, they never rented the room when I was gone for the weekend, so I left things in the closet and drawers. When I came back the staff had stocked the fridge with food and drink. Valet parking was always free. They held special events to which my wife and I were invited four times a year for a few of us. It was a nice gesture and I appreciated it.
Anyone else been locked into a room for "life?"
