I am Elite Platinum status and close to earn lifetime gold status.. not sure what the difference in benefits are... per example.. does lifetime includes all benefits earned from regular elite platinum status? Thanks.
Lifetime status is the same as "plain" status, except that you don't have to make any goals to keep that staus, next year. I just reached LT Platinum, today. I now no longer have to worry about making my 75 nights each year.
As phctourist indicates, there is no difference between "lifetime" and "plain Elite" except that you are no longer chasing minimum nights per year. When you reach Lifetime GOLD, you will continue to have Gold Level benefits forever (or until the program completely changes!) without having to achieve the minimum 50 nights for Gold Level each year. However, even if you are Lifetime Gold, you still have to stay 75 nights to qualify for Platinum Status for the next year, until the magic 750 nights + 2M points, when you get Lifetime Platinum.

Don't forget the shiny new membership card with the word "Lifetime" on it!
OR, if you're an SPG Lifetime Platinum, you get an actual metal card with your name and number etched in the cast metal
