I too am sorry you had a bad experience. I used to stay with them but gave up after many years of disappointment. I love the location but I also found no one seemed to care much and things took several phone calls to fill request. Front desk was never attentive or friendly and didn't seem to know what was going on.
I do miss the bellmen/doormen though. I always enjoyed them.
I also don't know if at some point they changed the smell they put off into this hotel. I am allergic to this air "freshener" along with their beds...which they were never able to get me a feather free room.
I think they don't care because they don't have to. This hotel stays busy. If you have status don't expect anything either.
I hope your issues get some resolution.
