Attempting to add Twitter & getting error

I'm trying to link my Twitter to the Social Media Rewards / Chirpify registration Rewards Points by Marriott| Chirpify, like I have with Facebook & Instagram and I get an error message that reads, "Twitter account has already been used". 


I attempted to tweet to earn points for a Sunday NFL promotion where you answer a trivia question and I answered correctly because I got a response confirming it on Twitter but it tells me I still have to connect my accounts:

Anyone know how to fix this?
