Sorry to hear you are having a hard time downloading your bill. If go to your "Account Overview"-under "Last Activity" you will see your "Hotels". Beneath the "Hotel" information is a clickable link to download your bill. Currently you will need to do this from your home computer not the App,

The path you mention in your reply is not valid. It appears the website has received an update and you no longer have the ability to download a bill.
There was once a dropdown menu that allowed you to download your bill.
Sure hope this is a glitch that they get fixed. This was a very helpful feature!
hmmm... I just checked this on my most recent stays, and I still have the dropdown to download bill. I wonder if it's in the new rollout, as my current sign in screen looks like the old version?

Any update on this? At 95 nights and it's only August, calling the 1-3 properties I stay in per week to request Folo's for expense reports purposes is just an inconvenient waste of time...
This is actually a really big deal. Many of us have status with every major chain due to work travel and could literally stay anywhere. This adds significant time to my day and is enough to make me reconsider my Marriott choice....how can we resolve?
I stayed at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian last week, checked out on Friday. I don't know when it appeared, but if I look at my account activity my points are posted for the stay. There is text that says download bill in the stay description area. When clicked, a statement comes up. Its not in the same format as the bill that was emailed that morning, but has all of the information.

I have never had a problem downloading my bill, using the information provided by communitymanagers. Also, I always get an email right after my stay which has the invoice. I ALWAYS check that before I even check out of the hotel, as it makes it a lot easier for me to ensure accuracy before I submit business expenses.
I have been very patient with this program for several years now. Again, I am on the phone with a CSR hunting down a receipt that I cannot download from the link. He informed me that I cannot get this information through the website because my stay has already past; this makes no sense. This link has never worked. I am a member of multiple rewards programs, all of which have a very simple process to retrieve receipts on their websites for expense reporting. These are the little things that make me overlook Marriott hotels while traveling, mainly because it is not worth the hassle or hours requesting receipts that will be sent 2-3 days later. Please, FIX THIS!
For me it's often been hit or miss with online folios. I draw the conclusion that it really depends on the property if they want to upload the information.
I'm really hoping that with the merger and the new Rewards program, they will also overhaul the entire reservations system to get properties to put in all the details of the stay in the central database that can then generate any receipt for any stay.
Totally a non-issue with use of the Mobile App as workaround for me.
My experience with getting the hotel folio bill is very positive. Over the last 53 stays completed since January 2018, I have received my bill electronically before I even leave the property automatically!
This functionality is not working. Nor it the receive an electronic copy stuff when leaving properties. I have had 4 stays in the last 4 weeks all outside of the US and have not been able to receive a bill via email or "download a bill" from the website. The website only has the option for rebook. The last 4 stays at time of checkout at EVERY property got the same thing, "Our printers have been rebooted so it will take some time before we can give you a copy of your bill. We will email you an final copy." Then I get NOTHING. Things worked great in the past and if I didn't get an emailed final bill I was able to head to Marriott.com to download a copy of the bill that was perfect for corporate expenses.
Marriott please remedy this situation with the online download of the bills for each stay ASAP.
This really is ridiculous. I don't have anything to add to cue003's comment, but am writing to lengthen the chain and (hopefully) ensure visibility by the communitymanagers that this isn't a couple of isolated members complaining about nothing. The fact that it has been listed since September and hasn't been resolved isn't encouraging.
I am adding to this thread as well. I see the option to download, but when I click the link to download, the page just refreshes and nothing downloads at all. I did not receive an invoice in the email as well.
I'm having this same problem. I download my receipts when completing my expense report monthly, and this wasn't an issue last month. I tried both Chrome and Firefox and both just refresh. communitymanagers, any idea why this is occurring?
If the property you are choosing is not showing the capability to download the receipt we would recommend following the advice of yogib above, which is to call the property to request that they email you a copy.

biztrav85 Did you check your Marriott.Com "Activity" for your Rewards Account. Sometimes they post a link to your Folio on the Activity Page once your stay is posted to your account?

Did you try to call the property directly? Ask them to email you a copy of the folio as a PDF attachment.
They can normally do this on the fly while on the telephone, but to increase your chances of them willing to do this, don't call during the busy check-in / check-out rush hours.
Ugh - Still struggling with the simple concept of getting a bill for months now, and I stay about 4 nights a month at Marriott. Online, the my activity "Download >" link is useless. I click and the screen refreshes exactly as was, with no file in my macbook download folder. Chrome, Safari, Firefox... doesn't matter. I have 16 emails from Marriott in the last month, two stays, and both morning after emails say the following useless information (see below). Stop marketing me to stay more, and start fixing your systems first. Customer, Brand, Business - follow that priority and things will be fine....!

I hate to say it, but has anyone tried Internet Explorer? I've had a lot of customer service reps from other companies ask if i had IE.
Still can't get bills on mobile or desktop.
I have 75 nights across 30 stays in 5 countries at 7 different brands so far this year and the bill has been in my Inbox by the time I wake-up on checkout day 100% of the time without fail.
I must be a lucky road warrior or my account must be blessed by the Marriott IT staff.

I'm so frustrated by this! Even for the stays with a "Download" listed, all clicking"Download" does now is cause the page to reload! I need these PDFs to submit expense reports for work. My expense reports are past due because of this. This is a major issue that's been dragging on for days... when I call I'm told to try again the next day. "Temporary website site". Yeah right.. I'm starting to seriously rethink my loyalty to Marriott.
Contact the hotels directly through email.I know Marriott HQ is making a mess of the website (my download links for the e-folios are not working either and looping back to the Activity page). The hotels will be able to manually create a PDF for you and email it.
In the same email you can ask for their help to put pressure on Marriott to fix their website, because the hotel staff surely doesn't have loads of time to spare, and they will be a louder voice in HQ than you.
I believe you can synthesize a generic mailing address for every hotel.

Having the same issue here. The "Download" button is presented, but when clicked it does nothing but refresh the page and no PDF download is initiated. Frustrating when I am trying to obtain an electronic receipt for business travel
Yes, website has reduced capability during this period that Marriott is trying to Merge the programs. Both the website and Call Centers will be experiencing reduced availability/capability during the next several days. Sorry.

Issues again. choosing Download only reloads the original screen. I can not believe that this is not an easy function for business travelers. 120 plus night yearly and I have to deal with this?
This is so incredibly frustrating. I can see my receipt, but I can not download it. When I select the download button, the screen blinks but nothing happens. I have tried three different browsers and countless hours trying to figure this out. Calling the property is time consuming. My company uses a booking agency, meaning that a receipt is not slid under my door. Please help.

I am having the same frustrating issue. Click the download link, screen flash, then nothing. No ability to download past receipts. It is the #1 function that I count on the site for.
This has been an ongoing issue for months. It is only an issue if I never receive the Folio via email...but that happens frequently as well. This time had to call the Hotel, then the Marriott customer service number and spent nearly 20 mins just to get a copy of my bill...frustrating when you frequently travel.
I've also had this issue for months. Sometimes I get the bill emailed to me but not all properties are doing this. HUGE hassle Marriott!!!! Get this fixed, how hard can it be to get the link to your bill corrected!?
