Does anyone know how to get bonus points via twitter? I keep seeing this is the way to get bonus points via social mediA.
Marriott tweeted something a week or so ago and said in the tweet that they would give you 150 bonus points if you retweeted it. I did retweet it a couple of days ago, but haven't received the points yet.
Still no points, so I'm wondering if I will ever get them.

I've been having problems too. Seems for some reason the system thinks I am connected but when I retweet/reply, I get an admin message telling me to connect my account so I can get the points. I'm stumped. Anyone know what the problem is? I contacted Marriott and they told me to try using Mozilla instead of Explorer but that hasn't helped either. And, yes, my account is public.

Having the same problem as kswhitt. The "Connect and Collect" system says I'm connected but I'm not seeing any points when I send a tweet. I get the same admin message telling me to connect my account.

I also have problems with the social media rewards:
1. Was able to link my twitter account, but the system doesn't allow me to link facebook account or follow Marriott Rewards twitter to earn more points. It keeps saying "This member id may not be valid or you have already been connected to #RewardsPoints."
2. Even though successfully linked my twitter account and replied to the NFL Sundays twitter (also successfully), I didn't receive the bonus point (250+1000) in my account.
Would you please send me a direct message again? I thought it was resolved but when I tried to retweet the NFL tweet this weekend, I still received the "Connect your account to get the points" message.

o0o0o0o0o0o...points! You probably won't get the Slack retweet rewards. It was posted on the 1st of September, I retweeted it on the 4th (I was traveling in Spain throughout that time), and I was told the promotion had expired by the time I replied (by @MarriottRewards direct message). They clarified there was no posted date for the offer, but it seems like most of the things have to be done almost instantaneously.
TPG wrote an article re: the 1000 MarriottRewards Points NFL Sunday trivia activity a day later and there were already people in the comments saying they were denied credit by 8PM EST the same day.
I agree. I seem to recall reading somewhere(sadly, I don't recall where I saw that) that the NFL tweets were only open from 1:00-8:00 EDT? So make sure you tweet this Sunday in a timely fashion (the 24th), or else you probably will miss the opportunity. Thankfully, I got mine in on time last Sunday, but only by about 30 mins or so, and yes, my points posted to my account quickly.
Love this promotion. Everything is working smoothly for me. All points received for sign ups and follows, and literally instantly got my 1000 points for today's NFL question.

I got the sign up points immediately, but I haven't received any points for tweeting, once about 10 days ago and once today.
I wonder if its not working properly or If I'm not doing it right.
Ensure you add the #hashtags they require you to add. #RewardsPoints, #MembersGetIt - whichever ones they require, add those to your tweet.

Problem half solved - my tweets were protected.
Retweeting the answer to the NFL question again after I changed that setting worked - I got an almost immediate response from Marriott and the points have been credited to my account.
How do I get these points?

Just replied to Marriott Rewards tweet with the answer and the #rewardspoints and within two seconds got a response that my answer was correct... hint, be sure to add the end zones and convert from yards to feet
Also, just checked my points balance and...... the 1,000 points are there!
I kept having problem linking my write account to my Marriott account...
I have the same problem. I kept getting "already connected" response which I didn't do that before.
The following is what I got:

Was wondering how long it takes for points to post for tweeting. My twitter posts have gone through for both the Concert and Football questions -- but no points posted.
Do I have to have the same email account of my MRI as my social media (for instance FB)? I tried to connect my MRI with FB and got a message that the connection failed because I am configured to earn miles rather than points, which is not correct? any help please?

Whitney helped me get signed up today. It's pretty easy. Bonus points for signing up (250) and for for following (125) showed up almost immediately (Must be different IT people than the MegaBonus folks!).
Still waiting for my 1,000 NFL bonus points from 9/17, but that may have to happen overnight. If they don't come through, I'll try Whitney again, but so far, so good!
Is there a problem with posting the Twitter 50 daily bonus points? I feel lime there is no consistency on how quick they post to the account. Some days it is minutes, and others it is hours. Today, the 50 bonus points have not posted from a 7:00 AM response, and it is now after 5:00 PM. Is this a manual process or systems issue?

Andrew, I am not following your reaponse. The issue I am experiencing is no t linking the accounts. My accounts are linked and previous credit has been given, as recent as Sunday's NFL bonus. I, along with many others did not receive the 50 bonus yesterday. I think this is a systems issue that needs to be addressed. The commitment to post daily is significant, and the frustration of not receiving the points, though minimal, far outweighs the value of the points. I feel like this is beginning to be a time suck with all of the runaround. I had 6 back and forth interactions with the Marriott Rewards Twitter team. All for what, 50 points, 1000 points? Again, frustration outweighs the value, when O am meeting my end of the agreement.
