I just had an interesting conversation with customer service.  Last week, I had a four-night stay at a FS Marriott and declined housekeeping for three days.  But I was only credited 1000 points for it.  The customer service rep said that for a four-night stay, you can only get two nights worth of credit.  The first night doesn't count "because if you only stayed one night they would have to clean the room when you checked out."  And the fourth night doesn't count because they have to clean the room every fourth day.  That doesn't make any sense to me.  I was there Sun-Thurs, and they didn't clean my room on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.  I count that as three days...


After some discussion, she said she would credit me the extra 500 points, but I should be aware that for future four-night stays, the max I can get is two nights worth.


Has anyone else had a similar experience?
