The service I have received at the Renaissance Seattle has been quite unimpressive. Not really happy at the moment.
I was in SoCal and my family in PHX, all decided to fly to SEA for the weekend. Reserved a 2 B room and a single King. Did mobile checkin on both rooms and was notified at noon the rooms were ready.
Got to the hotel at 5, a few people in the normal line and the mobile check line was empty. Waited there for about 15 minutes as the front desk people took the regular line (including people who arrived after we did) before i hit the roof.
The rooms are unimpressive. Of course no upgrades. The King faces west (away from the highway) but the 2 BR faces east and is quite loud, even on the 23rd floor.
Head up to the CL to grab some bottled water and it becomes a bar/restaurant over the weekend so nothing.
I get better service at the Courtyard. If I had an option I would checkout and head to a different hotel.
