A couple of things to remember when staying here.  First of all Victor Hugo was apparently pretty popular in France so be sure and tell your Taxi you are staying in Neuilly Sur Seine (New-Yee Sir Sen) since you may end up on Victor Hugo in Paris instead and paying for the priviledge of being driven back to the 'right' place. This hotel is wonderful, superb service, a very nice restaurant with reasonable (for Paris prices) and a small but very chic bar area. Neuilly is a delightful suburb with nice walks, close by attractions and restaurants (Arc De Triomphe and Tour Eiffel are both walking distance as is the Champs Elysees). Be careful with taxis, if you order one you will begin by paying anywhere from 6 to 15 euros for the waiting time for an 'ordered' taxi, better to walk into Neiully perhaps and pick one up on the street. Also internet service at the hotel is abominable though it appears to be better for French sites then US sites so who knows...My wife and I stayed here for a week on a business/pleasure trip and we could not have asked for a better location-out of the bustle but agreat neighborhood and a very nice walk to the hot spots of Paris.
