According to a recent newspaper article, PT-305 is one of just four combat-veteran PT boats that can be found in the United States and has been fully restored and is operational.  The museum is offering rides on New Orleans' Lake Pontchartrain. PT-305 was commissioned in December 1943 and tested on Lake Pontchartrain.  Currently, the rides are being offered on Saturdays. They last about 90 minutes and the rates are $350 per person (50% off for active-duty military in uniform).  Tours of the deck are available for $15.

Several posts have been made on Insiders discussing the museum; however, I was unable to find them through the search function.  I wanted to make sure visitors were aware of this new addition.
