Status updates for platinum challenge

Hi, I got approval to apply for Platinum status challenge when I called Marriott Customer Support at 1-800-721-7033 on Monday morning. But today my status is still gold elite and I'm wondering if the upcoming stays in Marriott this week will be counted or not. Anyone cancan help check if my status has been switched to Platinum challenge status or maybe it's just not shown in my mobile app?
