I searched to see if this has been discussed; but couldnt find anything. Why have coffee makers been taken out of the rooms of some hotels? On our most recent stay - no coffee maker. I start my day with at least 2 cups and don't want to get fully dressed to walk down to the lobby (although I don't know if it was available there either). It forced us to order room service at an exhorbinate cost. $48 for a pot of coffee and a pot of hot chocolate. of course we could have gone without the hot chocolate as it was for the kids - but I was still looking at $25 for a pot of coffee.
