I recently hit the spending amount on my ritz card to get platinum status. How long does it take to change my account over to platinum?

  I have the same question. I just hit my $75000 spending today but my statement closed yesterday. Will I have to wait until my next statement closes in November? I have an upcoming trip to Italy and I want to make sure I have Platinum status before I go.
