We are thinking about a long week-end trip to the Williamsburg, VA area this fall. We haven't visited in that area in more than 10 years. What are your favorite activities, lodging, eating, etc.?

Re: Ford's Colony/Williamsburg, Va.
Looking forward to what the rest of the community has to say
I go to Williamsburg many times a year. I LOVED the Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony. The resort is amazing and comfortable. There is a ton to do on property and it is so nice to take a long walk through the community. It is highly kid friendly, too. Besides that, I have stayed at several other timeshares that do not compare. Kings Creek was very good though, and I have heard Kings Mill is great, but I never stayed there. My second choice to the Manor Club is the Residence Inn. It is a standard RI, but very near everything.
I have season passes to all the Seaworld Parks, so we go to Water Country USA and Busch Gardens. The outlet mall is also good.
