We really enjoyed this hotel because we were very comfortable taking public transportation in Prague by then. The hotel is mostly surrounded by apartment buildings with a few shops and restaurants around, too. The most notable landmark is he Soviet era TV tower which is 10 minutes of walking from the hotel.

There is a Subway stop across the street, and three tram lines with one in front of the hotel and the others one long block away in opposite directions. You can't beat it. And you can be in V. Square or at one of the bridges in less than 15 minutes. Again, we were comfortable with the system and the hotel is awesome in helping you with directions and selling you tickets. Get the day ticket for unlimited use for 24 hours.

We checked in easily. We had reservations made online months before our trip and everything was easy. When we checked in we asked about the area and were told about the shopping mall across the street which has everything you would want, and also told about a farmers market which was about 10 minutes away from he hotel. This was a Gem because we bought our fruits, were able to try local beverages, food and ice cream. We liked it so much we went every day!

We did not try the restaurant and did not have the reservations which included the breakfast. There was so much good food across the street in the Mall which opens early it was not necessary. I really wish the hotel would provide complimentary coffee. They do sell it along with beers, snacks, and some other random items but you can easily also walk across to the mall and there is a supermarket just as you enter the Mall from the hotel.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful. The cleaning staff were great. Julia cleaned our room and was really great. She smiled, she cleaned and did a great job every day. Enjoyed speaking to her about Prague, too.

If you don't mind being away from the mobs of tourists, pick this place but be prepared to walk quiet streets coming home at night. the area is residential. Walking around the neighborhoods is safe and you will see life in Prague which is what I believe to be much more like Prague than the the Disneyland mobs in the center of town, at the Charles Bridge or at the Palace area.
