I just applied and was approved for the citi prestige card (new 50k bonus, ching ching), and it comes with a benefit that is book a 4 night stay at any hotel, and the last night is free.
I'd read anecdotal evidence that this was point and night elligible for some other programs (like SPG and club carlson) and was curious if anyone had any info about this benefit with marriott. The "Designated Travel Specialist" is Carlson Wagonlit Travel. I figure if it is, it might be a better option than a marriott or ritz card. Saving $500 on an expensive nights stay is more valuable to me than 2500 points from credit card spend
