Phenomenal, the best experience ever. The title says it all. I am confident and firmly believe Goa Marriott Resort & Spa is the hallmark, beyond compare and recommend every Marriott or hospitality organization adopt their training, process and procedures. Every associate is a business owner and genuinely excited and please you are their guest. Every associate we encountered during our stay, dropped what they were doing to greet us and inquire how they could make the experience better. Outstanding. The welcome was awesome. We were greeted with shell garlands and offered beer and pop. We were seated in the lobby overlooking the beach while we sipped beer completing registration. We were frequently asked if they could get us another beer or drink. We were then escorted to our room. Gorgeous view, balcony overlooking the beach. Room was beautiful, had water, fruits and cookies. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi and shower and all the toiletries to make our stay comfortable. Once again before the associate that escorted us to our room left, we were offered beer and I opted for a Cappuccino. It promptly arrived, and that was just in the first 30 minutes of checking in. My hats off to Yamini Nanda, the consummate Guest Relations Executive. She was genuinely caring, lots of warmth and always taking care of every need. Whenever she saw you, she got up and walked right over to greet you and to make sure you were well taken care of. Kudos Yamini. You made a difference. All the restaurants at the facility were exceptional. The breakfast was to die for. A very large spread and items you could order. The Goan sausages were just out of this world, Delicious and absolutely loved it. Every encounter, especially at breakfast they constantly asked us what we would like to eat. So I decided to put it to the test. Growing up in India, I remember a bread that was in the shape of a bow that was really delicious. I had asked the locals where I could get that bread and was informed by many that Goa had stopped making the bread many year ago. So I asked the chef when she visited our table at breakfast that I would like the bread and described it to her. She acknowledged, gave no indication that she would get it for me and inquired what else she could make for us. The next morning at breakfast lo and behold, a basket of the bread was brought to our table. They made the impossible possible. They even replaced plentiful of the foods in the room you consumed. We were SPOILED! I do not believe the experience can be matched. Add this to your "bucket list", book your trip now and stay at the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa. The phrase "there is no place like home" should officially be changed to "there is no place like the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa".
