I'll be staying here in the fall...thinking about using the spa for a massage. Anyone have an opinion? Anyone know a ballpark price?
faithcampbell, I've never used the spa, but they've received poor ratings on Yelp and whatnot, and their website doesn't appear to be working anymore. What is your ideal budget for your spa escape and your willingness to travel?
Within Waikiki Spa Halekulani at the Halekulani hotel is supposed to be one of the better ones, though it's also way up there in price. http://www.halekulani.com/spa-halekulani/spa-menu
The Moana Lani Spa at the Westin Moana Surfrider seems to get pretty good reviews: Moana Lani Spa - Waikiki Beach Front Spa at Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa
The Spa Honolulu at the Modern Honolulu (formerly the Waikiki Edition) gets great reviews: Spa Honolulu | Waikiki Spa at The Modern Honolulu Luxury Hotel
The closest one too you will be the Na Ho'ola Spa at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, which has good reviews: Honolulu Spas- Hyatt Regency- Waikiki Day Spa, Waikiki Resort Spa
If you want to keep it within the Marriott brand, then I've heard good things about the Ihilani Spa at the JW Marriott Ihilani, though it's about an hour drive from Waikiki: Ihilani Spa :: Ihilani Resort and Spa
The only recommended spa I've been to is Laniwai, a Disney Spa at Disney's Aulani in Ko'Olina, which is next to the JW Marriott Ihilani: Spa Therapies | Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa The wife and I love Laniwai... especially the lomi lomi massage with hot stones. The added benefit of both Ihilani and Laniwai is that they don't suffer from the same noise issues as the Waikiki Spas do.
