We love the Marriott County Hall.  Best location in London for traditional sights.!It is the old London County Hall building that has been converted to an elegant hotel (beautiful wood paneling) in a great location on Westmister Bridge. Lovely big rooms with tea service, etc. Ideal for seeing London sights for the first time.  A walk across the bridge takes you to the London Tube, Westminister station, parliament, WM cathederal and a short walk through a lovely park to Buckingham Palace. You can see Big Ben and Parliament from the river view rooms as well as having the London Eye right outside your window.   The london Acquarium  and a very good McDonald's (which is great for a quick breakfast/snack to save on the pounds, not lbs.  Ha!) are under the building.   Great staff who treats members with care.  All sightseeing bus stops are right in front of building.  Also evening tour pick ups at hotel.
