I really must post to agree and keep the topic open. There is to much of a gap between Silver and Gold. Gold would require at least 1 stay a week for the most part. While Business travelers do travel that much the Leisure and Pleasure rewards Member can not if they have an average job or work a 9-5 M-F. Besides just nights stayed you should be rewarded for loyalty i.e. Peter Uliano has been a rewards member for 8 years and has been staying with Marriott since 1994 so we will give automatic Silver or Gold.


Would make a lot of sense business wise and would increase profits especially if you make the tiers easier to reach.


With that said then you can add benefits to each level (Especially the higher levels) because I honestly think there are not enough rewards in our Marriott Rewards no matter what level you are in especially the lowest 2.


For Example here is Princess Cruises Reward set up Which I am a Platinum Member but even Gold the lowest gets some pretty nice perks and member only events and such.


Anyway give us a little more for our loyalty not only nights but loyalty! I am only 30 years old and I have only been to Marriotts my whole life , with my Father (rewards member) and now with my Family. Where is our reward for just staying loyal?!

Priority Ship to Shore Tender Embarkation

If you have independent onward travel you may contact the Circle Host towards the end of your voyage to state your request to disembark with your preferred disembarkation group. Your stateroom will receive one mini bar set up consisting of a selection of liquors, soft drinks, beer, still and sparkling water. Deluxe Canapes Selection
Upon request you will receive a complimentary selection of deluxe canapés specially created by the Chef, delivered to your stateroom on formal nights (one order per Elite stateroom, each formal night). This benefit can be ordered by completing the card provided in your stateroom and hanging it outside your stateroom door by 10:00pm the night prior to the formal nights.
