The elite benefits show that free local telephone as one of the perks - Can't they extend this outside the US?
"Free Local Phone
Stay connected with free unlimited local phone calls to any U.S. or Canada destination when you stay at participating JW Marriott Hotels, the Autograph Collection, Renaissance Hotels, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Gaylord Hotels, Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites® locations in the U.S. and Canada."
There has been several occasions where i'm staying away in the UK and I can't get a mobile signal and begrudge paying the unnecessarily high charges to make a short landline call. Given how low the actual cost must be to Marriott for landline calls, surely they could extend this benefit?
