Which of these Marriott hotels is better suited for sightseeing in the city as well as having good access to public transportation(trains) for trips out of the city. Any information on these hotels from previous guests would be most appreciated.
We stayed at the Milan Marriott, the hotel is absolutely middle of nowhere, nothing memorable around and/or about the hotel.
It seems that the Boscolo Milano, Autograph Collection could be a better choice.
Thank you for the reply, Boscolo Milano booked. Looking forward to the stay at a new type of hotel.
Hi - i am looking into staying at the Boscolo - how did you find it? thanks!!
Just got back from staying at the Milan Marriott. We enjoyed it. It is easy walking distance to the metro. There are great restaurants within walking distance as well. The only downside is that the Platinum/Gold lounge is really small. But there is outside seating. They also give you a free breakfast option downstairs in the main dining room.
We loved the location, walking distance to great dining and the massive Duomo. The hotel is very different, modern but extremely comfortable and welcoming. As Plats we were upgraded on arrival (we were staying on points) breakfast buffet and hot menu were complimentary(this may have changed to just buffet) but the food was tasty and plentiful. There was no lounge but we had bottled water delivered daily as well as a wonderful welcome basket of meats, cheeses, breads and wine.
