What are the hotels options if a guest won't check out on time? I arrived at a Marriott in Bangkok. It was completely full. I had a reservation, no problem. But the person who was in the room I was supposed to get hadn't checked out. He had a later flight, apparently, and wouldn't leave.
The hotel staff took care of me. Brought me a paper and a snack and made me comfortable in the lounge for a few hours. Can't blame the staff.
But it just made me wonder what the staff can do?
