We are traeveling to Asheville, NC for a cycling vacation. I have the Asheville clubs cycling book which has many routes. Can anyone suggest some scenic stops?
All of downtown, The Biltmore property, and East a few miles to Black Mountain!
All of these are very "Bike friendly" and worth it!
The BlueRidge Parkway is a must. Not sure if bike are allowed.
Firstly, I'd like to welcome you to the Marriott Rewards Insiders community! We're happy you're here.
Thanks for posting your question (and thank you jerrycoin & shoeman1000 for jumping in here)! We did some digging on the site and found a few other discussions relating to Asheville, NC here and here. Hopefully those threads will help answer any additional questions you may have.
Also, others with personal experience are welcome to chime in here with suggestions, but we also welcome you to take plenty of photos and come back to tell us about what you discovered!

Thank-you for "Jumping in, as well"!
That is a lovely area, and Shoeman makes a great point on checking on the "Bike friendly" areas as well.
Could I suggest contacting The Chamber of Commerce? Most cities have "Bike trails" and this area would surprise me if they didn't have the same. Remember, this is a "Youthful area" with a lot of students and a major area for "Religious Retreats". Great place!
Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway & Biltmore are gorgeous!
If you have time check out the Brevard area nearby Ashville. Breathtaking waterfalls and a several biking trails around to get lost on. You may also enjoy a visit to sliding rock which is a fun day if the weather is hot.
