We just returned from 3 weeks in Costa Rica, with nine days spent at Los Suenos. We have always enjoyed our stays at Los Suenos, but have not been overly-impressed with the service. Happy to report that the Marriott staff was on their game, having us upgraded upon arrival and happy to upgrade us another level. They immediately responded to my request for pool chaise lounges for our balcony, where I enjoyed more recovery time from fractured leg surgery. There were smaller requests along the way and each one was taken care of, with seeming appreciation for our loyalty to Marriott. What a nice turn-around. Keep it up Los Suenos team!
Also, we spent a few nights in Escazu, at the Residence Inn (4 yrs old). Upgraded from studio to two-bedroom (great for organizing 3 weeks worth of re-packing), great breakfast (omelet station), and great staff. Also appreciated the large laundry facility which was complimentary. No dirty clothes to deal with when I unpack!
