A few years back we took our family vacation to Virginia / Washington, DC / Baltimore.  My husband, being a big baseball fan, wanted to see Camden Yards.  To make it even better, the Orioles happened to be playing the Yankees the week that we were in town.  To insure being able to get in to a game, we bought our seats for this July game in the spring.  As it turned out, on the night of the game, the Yankee's  Alex Rodriguez was sitting on 499 career home runs.  Though he did not hit number 500, the atmosphere in the park was electric.  Hundreds of camera flashes accompanied every pitch of all of A-Rod's at-bats.
