Back in August of 1993, we bought some tickets to a late September White Sox game for our family as well as my husbands brothers family. As the weeks passed leading up to the game, the White Sox were playing very well. As it turned out, the Sox could possibly clinch their first divisional title in 10 years on the day of our game. It was a very close game until Bo Jackson hit a huge home run to give the Sox the victory. The crowd was going crazy. To keep the fans off the field after the game, dozens of Chicago Police on horseback surrounded the field.
