When my son started playing baseball, I wanted it to be a good experience. Like most parents, I worried that losing might be hard for him, but I knew it was a necessary thing to learn. After going to a few games, though, I realized that I didn't need to worry. Win or lose, he cared about one thing more than anything else--snowcones! That's right! Immediately after the game, both teams met at the concession stand for a free snowcone. It was a lot more important than the scorecard.
