I remember as kid putting so much pressure on myself to perform in front of my parents and fans at each weekly local little league baseball game. Hours before each game I would be so nervous that I'd try to find any excuse not to have to attend the game. It never worked and I am grateful to my parents for pushing me to participate. I may not have been the very best player nor even played much during the game, yet the occassions I did I tried my hardest to succeed and made my parents proud. Baseball was a bonding experience for my family and for me and my teammates as well. I made lifelong friends with so many teammates and creating such wonderful memories of those times.
