When my kids were small, they asked to go to a Professional Baseball game on vacation, but we did not have the extra money at the time to buy tickets and attend a game in the New York area. (Both boys needed braces and we had just taken out a second mortgage in order to pay for them!)
So as a cost-cutting move, we planned our vacation in Montreal, as the exchange rate was very favorable. Imagine my surprise when I found out we could see the NY Mets play the Montreal Expos for $7.00 a ticket! We even got a hot dog since we were sitting in the Molson zone and the Expos hit a home run! My kids were thrilled and so was I! A great baseball memory!
