Baseball as America's Pastime:

My favorite memories as a kid growing up were going to my local town's minor league baseball team, the Greenville Braves. Sitting in the bleachers, paying money to get my pitches "timed," and begging for baseballs from the bullpen pitchers and catchers. Chasing and catching foul balls with my buddies became my favorite thing to do at the stadium. Tom Glavine, Chipper Jones, Javy Lopez, Jason Marquis, and Andrew Jones were just a few of the players I grew up watching playing baseball in Greenville who eventually made it to the big-leagues with the Atlanta Braves.

Great memories. 42story
