The first time I saw a baseball match was in Toronto, home of the famous blue jays. The scale and setting of the undertaking was impressive, and the enthusiasm of the spectators clearly evident.

It was interesting to compare certain features of this sport to cricket in England, but they really are chalk and cheese. No English batsman would ever turn to an umpire and demand “how many fingers am I holding up”.
