I coached a Freshman baseball team where 14 people tried out for a team of 12. A few of them were new to the sport. We coached them to bunt and steal bases. Anyone that considered themselves as a pitcher got a few innings on the hill. We started out terrible, but ended winning a few games, the most memorable was with our slowest player on third base, bottom of last inning, 2 outs, down by 1 run. Suicide squeeze.... success, game tied the other team was in shock and a runner that started on first came around all the way to score for the win. A total bad news bears victory.
