The first time something new happened

Discussion created by nymarriottman on Mar 27, 2013

The first Major League Baseball game I attended as a child was when Jim Abbott pitched a no-hitter for the New York Yankees. On September 4, 1993, the little league through my town arranged for tickets to the Yankees game and my dad took me. We witnessed history as Jim Abbott, a one handed pitcher, pitched a no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians. I will always remember that experience and have been going to Yankee games ever since.
