My family moved out of my Chicago suburb hometown in November of my senior year of college. It was a rough transition because I always thought everyone would be in Chicago forever, but other factors affected that. When I graduated college, my parents and my sister flew into Chicago and drove 2 hours to school for the ceremony. The FIRST thing we planned when we left my college campus was to drive straight to Wrigley field to see a cubs game. Not only was the weather amazing, but we were seated near 1st base, eating hotdogs, and laughing together the whole time. We had so much fun and I couldn't think of a better way to come back to Chicago as a family and watch our favorite team play. I don't even know who won... but it was the people and the location that mattered.
