To Pluto, Californian and all,
The news for storms in your area is not good!
Hope all goes well for your loved ones and you. We don't need another tragedy like the hurricane on the East Coast!
Take care, and we will keep you all in our prayers!
Ditto, Jerry. We were looking at the rain patterns going across the state and it looked pretty scary. Good luck Pluto, Californian, steppingstones (sometimes he checks the site) and all the others in the California storm path. We're thinking about you and hoping for the best.
We've receive a lot of much needed rain. It was a good weekend to do some deep cleaning and decorate the inside of the house for the holiday. Although there has been some mild street and delta flooding, I don't believe there's been any serious damage. Thankfully, nothing like superstorm Sandy. Jerry, I hope you are enjoying a "wunderbar" early "Weihnachten" in Deutschland.
Next Saturday morning we fly to San Diego for the weekend. Wouldn't it just figure that my kids local high school football team won the regional division 1 championship, and now will play this Friday night in Long Beach for the state championship semi-final. How to get down to Long Beach for Friday night's game, then back to Fresno to catch a plane BACK down to San Diego the next morning? So much for our $59 plane tickets through Alaska Airlines! Hello Amtrak? Well anyway, a nice little "problem."
P.S. Thanks for thinking of us, Jerry.
Oh goodness, you all had my heart really pumping, we moved to Oregon from Northern CA and have family and friends there (Redding and Red Bluff) and I hadn't heard of anything happening there, other than intense heat. Whew!!
Try to be safe everyone, everywhere, and if a crisis has not touched your lives, please prepare so that if/when it does, you will be able to weather it.
