Just completed a 3-night stay at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. Check-in: Their "Elite Ambassador Desk" was supposed to manned from 1 - 8PM per an e-mail we received prior to our stay, but when we arrived at 7:30 there was nobody there. So, we proceeded to check in at the regular desk. Front desk personel are a little "cold" here for some reason. They recognized me as an elite, but with no enthusiasm. Same story with our previous stay here. We were a little disappointed that we weren't given an upgraded better room on either of the 2 "Concierge" levels. Not a big deal though, as we had a decent Marina view. We didnt have a fridge, but they brought one up immediately after we requested one. We were also disappointed to learn that their Concierge Lounge would be closed for the ENTIRE holiday weekend (Wed night thru Sunday morning). They did say we could get 2 free breakfast buffets each day in their regular restaurant, but we there were 4 of us, including my 2 teens. As it turned out, they ended up comping breakfast for all 4 of us each day, so that was a pleasant surpise. Valet parking is the only option here @ $28 per day. You also text the valet stand here to get your car. Service was pretty good. The hotel hallways seem to be getting old, but the rooms and beds were comfortable. Overall an OK stay. Restaurants in the area: C&O Cucina for Italian - the garlic rolls are to die for! We had Thanksgiving dinner at Fogo De Chao (Brazilian Churrascaria) in Beverly Hills - Excellent!
