Hi I'm buying a new. Car and want to know people favorite color
Living in the south a white car is deflects much of the heat from the sun and also doesn't show the the dust or give as much of a dirty car look nearly as soon as other colors. A nice white with metallic flakes in the paint looks very sharp.
brooklynlobster, interesting that you only chose a limited number of options, particularly with regard to grey (which folks could choose to encompass silver ... or not).... As you probably know, the poll option lets you choose another 5 options (in addition to other)...
One quick web search indicated the national preferences - What’s the most popular car color? - Bankrate.com - as follows:
Silver (13 percent)
Dark grey (9 percent)
Grey (6 percent)
and so on...
But blue and dark blue and light blue combined would be more than red, unless you add maroon to red, but then it gets complicated.... Yikes, I'm getting a headache!!!!
The site, above, explains: "grey has been a popular color since before the recession. In 2014, shades of grey represented 76.5 percent of the... database. "Red and blue were much more prominent ... in the early and mid-2000s, but since around 2005 the popularity of gray scale cars and trucks began to emerge..."
You all should be ashamed of yourself!!
This is the 21st century - it is time we put prejudices and bigotry behind us and welcome the color GREEN into the fold.
There is no reason why we should look at that color a "different"
Life was much easier when my father was young - he could walk into any Ford dealership in the country and could purchase a Model T in any color he wanted - as long as it was black!
Can I expect a survey next week that will keep us up to date on the most popular breakfast cereals?
Found it difficult to sleep last night as I was wondering what was more popular, Cherrios or Corn Flakes!!
For a month or so each year here in the South, everyone's car is pine pollen yellow.
Pollen yellow works best with White!
I'm a fan of Silver...both neutral, timeless and classy!
Arrest me red
